Our Foodbank has always been a profitable way to reach the community.
They know we care. The church has gained so much respect because we make provisions for our neighbours in clothing, and food. The profit is the way we have reached the community. My personal vision has been to see people come to Christ. I will do almost anything to see this happen, and so my passion has spilled over into others who now also share my passion. Vision is catching. Included here are the reports from some of our volunteers as to their experience here. This year I asked some of my volunteers for some insights as to why they volunteer for HRS and Zion Food bank. The following are their thoughts and their reasons, and this is why this food bank runs as well as it does. I’m still not really needed as was written in last year’s newsletter, but I do still have the keys to the church, so I am needed in some way.
